With summer's heat approaching I'm getting the rebounder back in rotation.

I bought mine because it seemed a better choice than having a treadmill.

I'm sorry about the frozen shoulder. I suppose that means no kettlebells! I hope it heals soon and you can get back to the things you love.

I enjoy rebounding but don't do it often. I should leave mine out so I can bounce every time I go to the basement without the hassle of getting it out.
Thanks, Vantreesta. You are correct, kettlebells are not in my forseeable future . The look on my physical therapist's face when I asked about them was priceless .

AngieFitnessTV is not paid; she is on YouTube. She offers much more than rebounding, but those are her workouts that I especially like. She incorporates strength training of some sort into almost all of her workouts. Here is a link to a rebounding vid, as a sample:

I had bought a new Bellicon and loved doing rebounding every day.

Then, I found out that redounding was aggravating some pelvic pain issues. I have a lot of pelvic adhesions (scar tissue) due to so many surgeries. I had a terrible 6-month flare-up and had to stop.

The Bellicon is now in the garage.

Thanks for the link and info, Gale! I have the old UR compilations but haven't done them in quite a while. Some I remember thinking were kind of cheesy. And I've never been brave enough to try the URX ones I bought in 2012! At least your PT knew what kettlebells were.

I'm so sorry about this, but am glad you've shared your experiences. I guess I wasn't aware rebounders could be a problem in that way.

I mostly use mine for health bouncing, but I'm learning to be careful with that. (old broken toe, not sure why it aches sometimes ...)

I jog on my Bellicon a few times a week (at least) using Virtual Active videos. It gets the fluids moving through my legs as I stand on a cement floor all day. And it does absolute wonders for stress!

I still use my B-Bounder! I love the large surface area. It's a soft bounce, so it's good for self paced exercise like bouncing to music or Virtual Active videos. It's not as easy to keep up with videos that go at a faster pace because you sink more, making it slower, but it works really well for my purposes.
