Nice to know I'm not alone 😀

My staples have remained pretty stable but I'm trying to jazz things up with my foray into beginner step aerobics, slightly more complicated floor aerobics (a bit of TIFTing and some dancier moves for my two left feet), more backbends (a.k.a. front body opening) in my yoga practice and maybe more dabbling in forearm balances (if I can commit to it... my wrists are sensitive so arm balances and too many chaturangas can lead to me taking too many "rest days" hence anything on forearms is probably going to be safer in the long run). Staples are as follows:
  • KCM -- weights, kickboxing, some added cardio effect = awesome!
  • Cathe -- mostly upper body weights
  • Margaret Richard -- lower body floorwork
  • Denise Beatty -- Fitness Fix Intermediate lower body is practically a substitute for my physical therapist = love it and try to do it once per week to keep my knees in good shape!
  • Eoin Finn -- my go-to yoga teacher on DVD and podcast due to variety, solid instruction, great music, good vibes
  • Jessica Smith -- her YouTube channel is the best... there is no excuse for me to not do something if I just load the channel and type in something that is zero dread for a given day + her DVDs are rockin' too (great music, great scenery, great sidekicks like her mom and Peanut the dog!)
