Just getting ready for bed now, and hope I rest better tonight.
The facility we went to in order to get our vaccines was quite the military operation, with multiple stations for a large volume of people. Now they're accepting walk-ins, along with people who had made appointments. It wasn't very crowded, or no more so than our first time there.
The first guy administering our shots was awesome and you could tell he knew what he was doing. He kind of pinched the skin with thumb and forefinger, so there was some cushion at the top of the arm/shoulder for the needle. He even said we wouldn't feel and thing, and it was done quickly.
When we went again, we got a much younger military guy who had been sitting with another guy who was showing him how to administer the shot. When he was done watching, he'd moved over to our cubicle and we were his first guinea pigs. So, we were most likely the first people he'd given shots to. So, I knew right away with how my arm felt during and after he hadn't mastered the technique, LOL. Anyway, ultimately it's not going to be that big of a deal, I don't think. I'm just feeling the pain much more than the first go around.
Night all!
