I have used a towel under my low back for roll ups. I’ll have to try it under my shoulders too. Always like learning new tips & tricks!

Beth Frankenworkout? That's funny

Pam oh I'm sorry to hear that. I know how much you enjoy that so, yes, be good!! (I'm sure it's hard.)

Donna good for you having some perspective on the situation. You will help your coworkers seeing the best in the situation as well.

Carol that hotel workout sounds like something I need to check out.

Dana and Brenda hope you're having a great holiday!

Today was Boho day #5. This was called 'yoga detox.' Many times I was off a beat because I was having to adjust my blocks and/or pause to check my alignment. I had never done this pose she called lizard which felt great. She suggested some binds, but I never did any of them. I wish she offered more instruction/cues. I enjoyed the way she put together the sequence of exercises and the length of time each was held.

Hope you all enjoy one more day off!

I *think* it's only available through Jessica's streaming. I'm not finding it on YouTube.

Yeah I searched only for members. That's ok...I would hope people do get more for membership than what she offers on YouTube. Or else why be a member, right?

Good morning!

WH Functional Cardio Flow - 45min.
ePilates SIJ Release Tutorial - 17min.

Gorgeous day here today. I'm trying to talk my DH to go for a walk with me to our favorite park. Other than that, we don't have anything planned other than grilling some steaks later on. I don't really eat a lot of meat, but do enjoy a nice steaks every now and then. Hope everyone enjoys their day!

Hi Everyone,

Sticking it out still with the Lively Ladies!

Lively Ladies - Full Body Dumbbell and Body Weight Workout
Lively Ladies - Every Day Stretches for Improved Flexibility

These combos are working well for me right now.

At some point I will have to get some yoga and/or Pilates back into the mix.

Today may also be a walk since it is sunny and looks to be low humidity.

I was on a quest for Irish Yoga/Pilates videos - I get these strange themes in my head - so since Lively Ladies is from Ireland I wanted to see if I could find a complimentary yoga/Pilates channel also from Ireland.

I stumbled across this one that is obviously a spoof -

Hope everyone has a good day!

Today's workouts - finished early! - were

Silver&Fit - Advanced Strength Workout with Penny - 9/3/21 - 30 minutes; This strength workout was more challenging than I expected it to be. It was filmed outside, poolside, in what looks to be Penny's backyard in Arizona.

Jessica Valant Pilates - 20 Minute Gentle Pilates Workout & Hip & Hamstring Release - 12 minutes
Both of these were nice.

Waves to all ~ happy holiday!

Today went for a hike total of 8 miles. Gorgeous weather. Lots of people out but only a few on the trail we chose. Had a great picnic by the stream afterwards. I am pleasantly tired

Dana we met and chatted with a couple on our hike after we passed each other in opposite directions the second time. They had moved here from Illinois and made me think of you! We grilled steaks yesterday but will probably just scrounge around tonight.

Carol what a nice combo!

Donna you may have searched for the most obscure exercise genre ever!

Good holiday wishes to all!

A quickie check in today, no Pilates but lots of short segments & variety:
~2km park walk, nice & flat, mostly felt good but I remain cautious
~Go Strapless in 10 Days: Day 2 - So far this is looking & feeling good!
~PT exercises
~MFML: Adam’s Daily Feet Practice
~MELT: SI joint
~Beth/toaster’s V.I.P. Yoga Supported Rest tutorial

Definitely Pilates on the menu tomorrow!

i Everyone,

I did another Lively Ladies workout today - it was the new one she posted yesterday:

2 Mile Walk at Home Workout - this was my least favorite of all the LL workouts I have done do far. For indoor walking I prefer Leslie, Jessica and Gina B. This was ok - it wasn't bad and it got the job done...

CocoLime Fitness - 15 mins stretch for hip flexors and hamstrings.

CocoLime offered a .99 trial for her paid site. I used to follow her on You Tube but she moved the majority of her content over to a paid site on Vimeo. I have been wanting to check it out and it seemed like a good deal for .99 for a month. I'm not sure if I will keep the subscription beyond the month. But I plan to try out some of the workouts. The subscription isn't too bad - $8.99 per month.

Anyway - back to the fun of the virtual office today!

Pam -I'm glad you were able to walk some. I love my outdoor walks and would be very sad without them.

Waves, everyone -

Donna
