Unhappy I have no idea what size I am!

I mostly shop for clothes on Amazon. The size charts are hilarious. Especially the ones from overseas manufacturers. For them, a "Large" is actually a Size 4!

I read the reviews and try to guesstimate. Thank heavens for the "Try Before You Buy" program.

As I wrote in my thread about jeans, even in the same brand/same style, there can be a big difference!

I can remember when I knew my size and it was fairly consistent amongst brands.

Those days are over!

I buy almost all my clothes off QVC and I just use their size charts and have never had a problem.

Duluth is consistent with its sizing, too.

I hate that.

Brand 1 I'm a solid 12
Brand 2 Loose 14 but 12 is to tight.
Brand 3 Loose 16 but 14 is to tight
Brand 4 nothing fits cause it either fits my waist but is sagging in the hips/butt or fits the hips/butt and I can't eat or breath in the waist

UGH

Yes, even in the same brand and style, the size varies. Especially in jeans, it’s so annoying. I have to return some Lee jeans to Kohl’s because they seem two sizes smaller than the first pair I bought, yet they are the same size on the label.

I've lost weight so all my jeans are too big. I'm hoping for some after Christmas sales.

Nowadays Amazon tells me what size will probably fit me, based on what I've ordered in the past and what people say about sizing in their reviews! So far it's always been right. What a world we live in.

Talbots tends to be consistent. and the big bi yearly sale on sale is starting. 50 percent off the sale price, goes to 60% off, then finally 70% off. That is when I buy most of my clothes but honestly I need very little.
