Bedtime yoga/stretching/calming suggestions

I tried searching, but I must be using the wrong terms because I'm sure this subject has been discussed before.

I'm on my never-ending quest to get to bed earlier--I'd like to become a lights out by midnight person instead of 2 or 3 AM. My beloved husband usually hangs with me till the end, but would really love it if we could be in bed by 12.

We are retirees with no early morning obligations.

I think it would help to start calming my brain and body down by doing a short calm yoga stretch routine around 11. Any suggestions? I have a lot of DVDs and YT Premium. A little "woo woo" is ok, but nothing too far out there, please.

Leslie

I'm not sure what you would describe as woo woo, but I love David Swenson's Just Relax. This is the long version on YouTube, but there's a shorter one as well (just the floor section). By the time we get to savasana, I'm falling asleep.

I have the Peloton App. They have evening stretches as well as restorative yoga. I use the sleep meditations nightly. Has helped tremendously with being asleep around 11-11:30 pm.

These are some of my favorite bedtime practices on YouTube:

Jen Hilman: 15-Minute Yoga Flow Before Bedtime
My favorite because it's all lying down.

Jen Hilman: 8-Minute Meditation for Bedtime
This meditation is especially nice to listen to lying down in bed (and/or with headphones on) to really relax and get sleepy.

Yoga with Joelle: Yin Yoga for Sleep - 10 min Deep Stretches in Bed
I do this on my mat.

Timberlake Yoga: Yin Yoga Before Bed 35 min
So relaxing with a pillow or two, but I've done it without props, too.

On DVD, I like these:

Rodney Yee's Power Up Yoga
The "Breathe" practice.

Element AM & PM Yoga for Beginners with Elena Brower
The PM practice.

Thanks everyone! I've added these recs to a playlist on YT. I also found out searching with the tag #bedtimeyoga gets a lot of hits also.

I love Yoga with Bird for bedtime practices. Lots of short ones, too!

Yoga with Kassandra has a 30 day evening yoga challenge on her YouTube channel. She does a lot of yin yoga which I find relaxing.

If you're in the mood for something very simple, here's an oldie but a goodie.

Four poses, with a bit of breathwork at the end, counting backwards.

I usually do the functional squat while standing at the bathroom sink.

This 19 min. stretch from Five Parks Yoga is great at any time of day, IMO, even though she intended to do it right when waking up and can be done in bed:

Also, Mady Morrison on YT has quite a selection of mobility stretches that can be done anytime of the day. Some of her yoga practices are in German, but most of her stretches are in English (noted for each exercise) and all have music - no talking which I relish!
