TGIF!!! I'm doing an all-day webinar for work today.

Pam, I haven't been doing a lot of Kate's practices of late. The hands-free one was legs focused, mostly standing - a number of squats (staggered chair) and a fair amount of balance work. I probably shouldn't have done it after another tough leg workout, LOL!

01/26/23 - Day 23 - Kassandra's new 15 Minute Gentle Yoga for Flexibility & Stress Reduction

It was easygoing, nothing new. Her furry tabby cat was active throughout it. Coming and going, at one point jumping up on the windowsill then staring down camera at the end. Once when the cat was off camera there were clattering noises which I figure was that mischievous kitty. I wonder if she still has Cleo, the fluffy cuddle bug.

Happy Friday all!

01/27/23 - Day 27 - Senior Shape Gentle Yoga Stretch

Thought I would try Lauren's style of yoga after dong one of her walking workouts. It was okay, but I prefer more of a "yoga" yoga class.

Happy Saturday all!

Day 38
~Somatics Daily Practice Class #1
~A Warm Cup of Cozy (Kate Vantucci Yoga YT)

Beth - I opted for something more relaxing than No Hands, All Legs. Warm Cup of Cozy started with a few active poses and then moved to the floor. It’s a nice combination.

Pat - I hear you about wanting yoga that’s more “yoga” rather than just a stretch.

Pam you just have one more day! Anything special planned for the end? Kate's No Hands, All Legs was more active, but more strength-based, not fast or anything like that.

Yesterday I did 2 Yoga with Tim practices, one as warm-up and one after my workout. The first was a nice knee-focus stretch and the second was for lower back.

I also did film my own no hands video:

Day 40
~Somatic QL release
~All Hips No Hands Yoga - Very nice Beth!

Beth - I hoped to get in Tim’s practice too but the day got away from me between getting the house in order, last minute packing, & having friends in for dinner. I’ve saved it to watch later.

I am done, 40 straight days!
Namaste, enjoy the rest of your Sadhana everyone!

Pam, I'm honored that you finished your sadhana with my video!

I did another two Yoga with Tim practices yesterday, again a before/after kind of thing.

Happy Monday, and congrats to the solstice starters who have completed their sadhanas!

Pat, I haven't finished - I'm on a solstice start like you, so 10 more days to go.

Who else is done?

Yesterday I did 2 nice mini practices. I've been exploring Susanne Barkataki, an Indian-American yoga instructor, and tried her short "Moving Stuck Emotions" practice:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dVtAJ6lgJs

I also did this short routine from Kanta Barrios's Beginner DVD that is on YT (I own her other DVD):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-T9tjgZaJM&t=600s

One of the Yoga with Tim practices I really liked from the other day was this 20-minute one for back and spinal health:

Also, not yoga-related, but Tim now has a second channel, Move with Tim; looks like there's only a couple videos so far.
