✨✨ April 2023 ✨✨

Mar 31 - Travis Eliot's Yoga 30for30 Twists. Ann reminded me that it was a full year ago that we started practicing together, so how could I not rejoin her on the mat? Going to try to come back to it at least on weekdays.
1 - Cardio Coach vol 2R, Jan Chuan's How to Stretch After Leg Day. Gave into my DH's urging to join him at the gym. The new branch he's going to doesn't really have a good setup for me, so I leaned into the fact that they have machines and grabbed an elliptical. I need some more intense cardio anyway. Might do this once a week in the future.
2 - Rest. Lazy day.
3 - Travis Eliot's Yoga 30for30 Even Flow.

Yes, AnMrsDe, you got it correct....12/3/30=12 incline 3 speed 30 min. Sorry, I should've explained it in my post. When I first noticed this popping up on You Tube and Instagram, I thought "No problem". Oh..My..Goodness..I'm ready to quit at the 20 min mark, but keep going. I too didn't think my knee(s) would be able to handle it. I tried it once or twice last month and the first day my knee was throwing a fit afterward, had to take Ibuprofen. It's been ok since, but I'm not doing the program daily, as intended. However, my 30 min walk turns into 40 min-I gradually increase the incline to 12 as a warm up the first 5 min, then give myself 5 min to cool down. To keep my mind distracted, I also play a game and REALLY squeeze the glutes for 2 min and relax for 2 min, the duration of the 30 min.

Thanks for elaborating on it, AZ! I can see how my knees would NOT appreciate doing this every day...not to mention the repetition or an overuse injury. I am a VARIETY junkie so I don't think I could hang for 5-6 days a week either--kudos there! The article I read said "the experts agree it shouldn't be done every day", so I think you are wise to skip a couple days at least! Next time I do it I'll have to remember to play the "butt game", LOL, that was funny!! Anything to not be watching the clock, right? I was ready to be done at 20 min., but I completed a 60 min. workout before that, so I was ready to be done with it all, haha! BUT(T)...the butt DOMS were crazy (and I STILL have them today!!!).

ASAS, glad your power came back on - yikes on the ice storm & 25 hours w/o power! That's rough!

Hope everyone has a great EASTER WEEKEND!
