I thought you did! I didn't realize the author was still adding to the series. I'm glad I came across it. It's about the little girl from the final book (Red Sparkle Stone).

I must have missed that book. I need to go back and see where I ended. I forget the name of the last book I read, but it seemed to come to a conclusion and I assumed it was the last. Now I need to figure out where I left off.

Isn't The Bitter Kingdom the last book in the series before this recent one? I can't find The Red Sparkle Stone...

I'm still making my way through The Secret Keeper. I also picked up Elizabeth Berg's Home Safe from a Little Library today.

I really liked Home Safe. I think it's my favorite of her books. Several funny but believable coincidences. Good characters.

Thanks Karen Jo! I just picked that one because I've enjoyed some of her past books.

I really liked it. I especially liked the main character, Celine. I loved the River. I love how when I was reading it, I felt like I was on the river, too. His descriptions were amazing.

Sorry, my wording was confusing. That's not a title. It's the name of the little girl (originally named Mula but chose Red Sparkle Stone at the end of The Bitter Kingdom.)

Ah, okay. I obviously had forgotten that detail! I put the new book on my wish list at the library.

I was wondering why I had never read Kate Morton. I figured it out today. She has a book called the Distant Hours and I was confusing that with the movie The Hours which was super depressing! I am glad I am now disavowed of that notion so I can try some of her books.
