Todays offerings:
~ETV: Lauren Finkelstein’s 30 min live from today
~PT exercises (monster walks)
~Moon Salutations (Five Parks Yoga YT)
~500 meter swim with hand paddles
~Walkabout, 15,000+ steps

I am not addicted to my phone, but I admit to being addicted to my tablet. I read ebooks from the library on it and also watch shows on it. I use it more than my laptop for posting here and using Google.

Waves to all!

cyana, sometimes when I teach, I joke to my students that they could stay in child's pose the whole class if they would like - but I often do note that I might check on them to make sure that they are okay.

It's quite "warm" here today compared to yesterday - 33F, about a 20 degree jump!

Beth, oh I'm addicted to my laptop for sure.
Thanks for the Hump Day funny!
It will be 77 degrees here today--really pretty outside.

Today's workouts:
- HeathBarre Challenge Day 3
- Yin Challenge Day 3 Reversed Pontoon Pose - new to me.
- Kassandra Day 2 - nice relaxing poses
- Long walk in a nearby Spa town, where we walked for a couple of hours around the park and lakes. Saw lots of ducks and swans with their cygnets. It was cold - 37 degrees F - but the sun was shining, so that helped.

Beth - Cute yoga funny and oh so true. I'm often lying in child's pose while the rest of the class is moving on! Another one here addicted to their laptop and i-pad (mainly for reading books). My DH, on the other hand, is addicted to his Apple Watch.

Paine - I want to be where you are.

Pam - A lovely variety of workouts. Monster walks sound interesting.

Pat - Sending hugs your way.

Waves to all. Hope it's a good day.

Todays workouts:
~Standing Yoga Poses for Hips (DoYouYoga YT)
~PT exercises: glute medius wall press - https://youtu.be/cOPwZGM66BE
~Another walkabout, 14,000+ steps

Margot: Your walk sounds lovely! Here’s a link to monster walks: https://youtu.be/pvWcF1Gyeik I tend to do a wide leg forward walk when I do them rather than sideways.

Beth - Love the cartoon!

Paine - Nice warm temp! It’s pretty warm where we are too.

Waves to all!

Good morning everyone! Thank you for the hugs. Things seem to be looking up, or at least my attitude is adjusting. I plan to stay in nurturing land as far as exercise through the weekend though, we'll be back in the negatives and heading for a storm next week. Oh well, it's winter in New England! Anyway, yesterday I accomplished:

~ Jessica Valant Pilates Back Pain Relief Exercises
~ YWK Monday Morning Gentle Stretch plus daily meditation from her new yoga/meditation series
~ 4,264 steps

Beth - staying in child’s pose for the rest of the winter sounds pretty nice right now. Good luck with you pressure headaches. I wonder why they took the place of migraines?

Margot - thanks so much for the hugs, I think they reached me. What yin challenge are you following? I’ve never heard of pontoon pose, it sounds scary.

Carolyn, I just started Kassandra’s yoga/meditation series a little late. It’s so nice!

Sandra, how nice to be planning retirement.

Pam, you're so good about finding ways to exercise on vacation.

Best wishes to Paine, Cyana, and one and all.

Hi -- just a quick fly-by. I've come down with yet another cold! Grrrr. Luckily, this time around I had an at-home Covid test available, and it came up negative. The cold has kind of quashed any desire to work out at the moment, though. Hoping I'll feel more human by the weekend.

Take care everyone!
