If you like those two, check out The Lost Room mini series (free on Tubi - the best riveting, heart pounding action strange yet realistic show I have ever seen. Right up there with ESOTSM and Being John Malkovich.
Thanks for the recommendation of The Lost Room. I've never heard of it before but will definitely check it out!

Penny, I forgot about the LOTR trilogy! Yes, I watch those over and over again when I see them on TV. DH loves Planet of the Apes, so I'd watch that with him whenever it's on.

I thought of one more, although it was a 4-part TV miniseries, so not a true movie: The Stand (1994 version). Seen it many, many times; willing to watch it many, many times more.

I also love The Great Escape (and Steve McQueen). I have a dog I named “Hilts”.

I love Rod Serling (and Shakespeare,) & I especially loved it when Rod Serling used Shakespeare's line from Hamlet ("There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy") at the end of one of his Twilight Zone episodes.

I mustn’t forget The Godfather. I know all the lines. I was watching tv in the bedroom once and my husband walked in and asked what I was doing. I said, “It means Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes.” My husband said, “Huh?” And then he heard the same line come from the tv. He said, “You’re watching The Godfather again, aren’t you?” 😁

I think it would be really difficult for me to make a definitive list of my favorite movies, so here's a list of really good movies not yet mentioned.

Music and Lyrics (Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant)
Kenneth Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing
Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet
A Perfect Murder (Michael Douglas, Gwyneth Paltrow, Viggo Mortenson)
The Misfits (Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable, Montgomery Clift)
The Holiday (Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black)
The Iron Giant (Animated with lots of big names doing voices)

I haven't yet watched that Hallmark movie, though I have it recorded. The 2 Hallmark movies I have rewatched are A Country Wedding (Jesse Metcalfe and Autumn Reeser) and Summer Villa.

Oh, well, if we're including Hallmark movies...DH and I have a mild addiction to A Crown for Christmas.
