Cat help needed urgently

So my Huxley, one of my 4 cats peed twice in a row on my bed. Im devastated. Im taking him to the vet tomorrow, but any advice? Litter boxes are cleaned several times a day, nothing changed, nothing new. What's happening?

Male cats often can have crystals form in their urine . Cats can often get urinary infections. They will need to do an urinalysis to see if he as any abnormalities in his urine.
If he has an infection they can treat with antibiotics. If crystals in urine ,a diet change is usually needed

Some cats may have some other health issues that can cause this. They may want to run blood work to make sure his kidneys are ok.

Cats can have behavioural problems that can cause peeing around the house. It can sometimes be tough to figure out what the cause is if there are no abnormalities found in blood work or urinalysis.

Cats can be very finicky ,even small changes can upset them.

It is good you are taking him into clinic to sort out what is going on.
Crystals in the bladder can be quite serious, as they can plug the urethra and make it impossible for them to urinate.

Yes. Possibly a urinary tract infection, not necessarily involving crystals. Check for blood in the urine where the cat is peeing.

Your cat may also be experiencing stress due to something going on with one of the other cats, kids, moving the litter box, changing the litter, etc.

Good that you're taking the cat to the vet tomorrow.

Agree with the above. Usually a sudden change in bathroom habits for cats means a medical issue. Hope you get it resolved quickly.

I would assume a bladder infection too! Usually very easy to clear up.

What did your vet say?

Yep. The only time my male cat Boo peed in other places was when he had a UTI. Poor kitty, hope he is better soon.

Well, the ultrasound showed no stones but we are still waiting for the urine result. He had a shot of antibiotic as well. I covered the bed with a shower curtain. Yesterday was okay but today he peed right on the curtain. It really puzzles me. He is a very smart cat, not bullied, very loved. I even got 3 more new litter boxes. The vet had not behavioral advice.... he is a new vet, my old one retired.

I can't lock him up, he is very alert, social and playful, it would be very hard for him. And he does use the litter boxes, I saw him there. He just randomly decides to pee on my bed. Why???

I had this experience a few years back. I had 3 cats at the time and wasn't sure who was doing it. Went thru a few months with a tarp over the bed during the day. It stopped as abruptly as it had started. No reason ever established.
