Since more VFers have been assimilated and are using kettlebells does anyone want to add their favorites to the list.

My kettlebell list is huge, so I'll add some workouts that haven't been listed yet.

Steve Maxwell's 300 Kettlebell challenge workout is very good!

Steve Cotter's new 4-disc set is also very good!

David Whitley's DVD is excellent!

Agatsu's Second is also excellent, but he has no vocal instructions.

I have all the books listed, plus the Revolution for Fatloss.

My favorite instructor without a doubt is Anthony. David Whitley is my second favorite instructor, followed by the two Steve's.

As far as kettlebells go, I have everything up to 71 lbs. I see that Perform Better now has a 80 lb. kettlebell, so I'll get it during their next sale.

2-9 lbs
2-12 lbs
3-15 lbs
2-18 lbs
2-20 lbs
2-22 lbs on the way
4-26 lbs (I need to either give 2 to my daughter, or sell them)
4-30 lbs (" ")
2-35 lbs
2- 44 lbs
2- 53 lbs
1- 62 lbs
1- 71 lbs.

Anita, I saw their sale. But, I just bought the 2 22 pounders, so I'll wait for PB next sale.

I'm reviving this thread since it's been more than 2 months since the last posting and I'm curious as to what new kettlebell devotees have to say and whether people's opinions have changed since their last posting. I just recently started kettlebell training and am just learning the basics so I don't have any strong opinions about favorites yet. But so far, I am loving all my workouts and the results that I'm experiencing both in how I feel and how I look. Thanks.

I have found that I'm as happy working from written workouts as I am with DVDs, maybe happier. Although, I kinda miss the scenery.

1) kettleball dvds? I love the two Iron Cores, Ryan Shanahan, Steve Maxwell, Steve Cotter, and Andrea duCane

2) kettlebell instructors? same as above

3) kettlebell books? I don't have any

4) Who you think give good instructions or tips on form, beginner instructions etc... Steve Maxwell gives excellent instruction.

5) What do you get out of it, and any physical gains, ie how is it different from weight training?. There is no dread factor, don't have to lug out tons of equipment, very time efficient

6) how many kettlebells do you own, ie weight, and whether singles or pairs and why? I own two 15 lbers, and have a 26 lb. and a 35 lb. on order.

What's a good source for written workouts? I find I prefer to move at my own pace compared to the only kettlebell video I own, Iron Core 2.

Kettlebell DVD's

This is an old thread but referenced from the Everything Kettlebell thread so I wanted to add my two favorite DVDs - both came out in 2008:

Beth Chamberlain/Anthony DiLuglio The Kettlebell Way (a remade Providence with instructional section)
Lauren Brooks On the Edge Ultimate Body Sculpt And Conditioning
