Fall Reading...

Today is the first day of autumn. Love this time year. Switching summer reading to fall. I haven't posted in awhile. Just been lurking what everybody's been reading. I'll list some books that I have read the past several weeks after I come back from breakfast with my DH and friends.

I'm almost finished with Stalked-Allison Brennan (Lucy Kincaid #5 series). I think I'll con't with the next book in the series Stolen in the Lucy Kincaid series

I'm reading 92 Pacific Boulevard in the Cedar Cove series. I'm now reading straight through the last few.

I read "Chasing Fireflies" and "Orphan Train" and liked them both. I'm reading "Fangirl" now and it's just ok.

I'm getting toward the end of Whiskey Beach. I continue to like this book.

I just started The Secret of Us, a book by Roxanne Henke about a couple who have been married for 23 years who are facing a crisis in their marriage. I like this author, so I hope to enjoy this book, one of her stand-alone books. I've been married for 23 years myself, but hope that I don't relate too much to the main characters who have fallen out of love.

Amazon Local is offering a voucher (available nationally) which you can use to buy select Kindle books for $1. If you're interested, you can find details here.

Hi,

I'm reading my first Debbie Macomber Book - 16 Lighthouse Road, 1st in the Cedar Cove series. I like it - it is a good story that is keeping my interest.

Next up after this (gosh, I'm planning reading rotations now!)

Jacqueline Winspear - Maisie Dobbs - Elegy for Eddie
Cleo Coyle - Holiday Grind
Then - next "Cobbled Quilt" and probably the next Maggie Hope msytery, next Maisie Mystery and more of Cedar Cove

However, - I may take a break from my various series to read a ghost/supernatural book - anyone have any recommendations? I'm not squeamish so I can read scary stuff. I'd love a good old-fashioned ghost/haunted house story!

I'm reading nonfiction, My Empire of Dirt by Manny Howard. He is a reporter who tried to grow ALL of his own food for at least a month, in his backyard in Brooklyn. I'm not far enough into the book yet to know if he was successful, but it's interesting reading.
