Ballet Physique Signature Sculpt

I'm in pretty decent shape. I work out six days a week with a combo of TA, DB and Tonique. One day a week I add a barre DVD and today I did Ballet Physique Signature Sculpt. Each time I do this work out, I'm always surprised by how challenging it is. I don't know if I underestimate it and then get surprised while doing it or if it's just pretty tough. Does anyone else have this opinion? I'm always pleasantly surprised by the intensity level and the soreness I feel several days following. What gives with this DVD?!?!

The first time I did Ballet Physique Signature Sculpt, I thought it was really fun. The next couple of times I did this workout, it seemed a lot harder than what I remembered. It gives me DOMS in my calves and abs! The abs segment is challenging for me.

The Ballet Physique DVDs are among my favorite barre workouts. I find Signature Sculpt tough every time I do it also. It just kind of sneaks up on you and I find myself thinking, "Whoa, why is this so hard?" every time. I get sore afterwards also. I'm not sure why I'm so surprised; I am probably going deeper into the plies, holding my leg higher on other exercises, which increases the intensity. I love workouts like that; it gets harder every time you do it because you're doing the exercises better and more effectively.
