Angry I don't think I want to order from Cathe anymore...(2/2004)

NOTE: Old thread, same old story...

I received the Supersets/Push Pull DVD today. It was loose in the box and all scratched up. This happened on my last order, too, and the DVD had to be replaced.

I find this really frustrating. I know this has happened to others. If they know there is a problem, why not fix it? I am tempted to cancel my pre-order of her new workouts.

Aaaaarrrgggghhh!!

But, wait, there's more...

Well, the case says Supersets, but the DVD is actually Timesaver !!!

That's two screw-ups.

Is it scratched beyond playability? Maybe you'll get a replacement and get to keep the boo boo bonus.

It is scratched and defective as far as I'm concerned. It may play now, but who knows what will happen down the road. I paid good money for a pristine, unblemished product. And I don't WANT Timesaver. (Can you tell I'm mad? )

SnM never let's folks keep scratched/defective DVDs as far as I know. They usually send an envelope to return it.

Yes, SNM absolutely insists on returns, even if it is their screw-up.

It's well within their rights, of course, it just seems curmudgeonish since so many other companies tell you to just keep the mistake.

Guess we're spoiled by some of the great CS you get in the fitness world!

SO SORRY, Alta! No offense meant to curmudgeons!!

You are our OWN curmudgeon, so that makes you different!

(now what are the odds that I would just happen to use that word?? Must've been one of those subconscious things after reading your post. . . )

Oh, then vent away Alta. That's just bad business IMHO. They should offer you something for the inconvenience. Silly me thinking that they'd save the postage and let you keep Timesaver.

Big frowny face in their general direction.

I know how you feel, Alta. Like you, I always get upset when a DVD arrives loose and scratched. This seems to be an ungoing problems with DVDs and it really doesn't matter who you order from. Well over 90% of the DVDs that I order arrive loose and scratched. There have only been two that were actually defective and had to be replaced. I really wish there was a guaranteed way of securing DVDs that are shipped.

Unhappy This happened to me as well

Like you I received the Timesaver DVD instead of the Super Sets/Push Pull... They sent me a postage paid mailer with the replacement DVD... However, the Super Sets/Push Pull DVD they sent was scratched and it skipped in parts making Cathe sound like she was rapping

Well I e-mailed them about that and I now have a working copy of the Super Sets/Push Pull DVD

I would definitely let them know about it being scratched and of course it being the WRONG DVD!! Also the replacement DVD comes in a paper sleeve mailed in a card board mailer... So your replacement DVD shouldn't be scratched... I hope!!

Good luck!!
