I used Sparkpeople quite a bit and was disappointed that it shut down. I checked out a few calorie counting sites (Calorie King and MyFitessPal) and did not like them. Then I ran across a site called MyFatSecret (fatsecret.com). Yes, not a fan of the name but it has a big nutritional database. I have lost 17 pounds so far.
I also found a great site that calculates calories and nutrition for recipes. https://happyforks.com/analyzer. I also only use my desktop for internet, so these sites work out great for my computer. Hope this helps! |

I've got that on my phone, but I just can't get excited about it. I didn't consider that I could maybe use it on my laptop? Will check it out.
