I watched several clips the other night and I'm excited! They look great to me!

Jane, based on the list of necessary equipment, you probably already own everything you'll need:
  • Step with your preferred number of risers or weight bench
  • Wide range of dumbbells
  • Resistance tubes with handles
  • Fitness mat
Everything else is optional.

I've been using the band around my upper arms occasionally to keep my elbows in close, but it is causing strain in my left shoulder. I'm not sure why doing a "proper form" pushup would actually bother my shoulder when regular pushups don't.

That version of pushup is band assist. The band helps you get up from the pushup. The band makes it a little easier.

Length of the workouts?

Are there any clues yet how long the workouts are going to be?

I have a problem with my right shoulder that makes pushups painful. Triceps pushups don't seem to bother it. I did have it xrayed to see what the problem is, but haven't heard back. Bottom line is that shoulder muscles assist in doing pushups, and depending on your individual anatomy, you may get shoulder pain from different positions.
