Gunnar Peterson's Core Secrets question (oldie workouts)

Hi all!

I was thinking of these and wondered if anyone had a rotation using all of them and would like to share. I have the entire set of 8 and can't remember the last time I did them. (copyright shows 2004, yikes)

Anyone still do these? Do you still enjoy them? If you have a rotation to share, let me know.

Thanks!

Denise

I have never done these and don't have them to check either. Wondering if the titles don't lend themselves to body splits?

I did look at the titles (and without benefit of the training journal) sounds like upper , lower, core, full body? Rest, rinse, repeat...

His workouts he used to publish for A-listers were circuit workouts.

i love Core Secrets. i have all of them! they tend to be total body circuit workouts for the most part, despite having the word "Core" in the title of the series. i would not use these in a split rotation - they tended to be TB.

you will feel worked for all body parts and will feel it the next day. that's what i liked about these workouts.

Gunnar also did a Shape workout - the Hollywood Workout - which just uses weights without a stability ball.

most VFers used Gunnar's workouts with other workouts rather than do an exclusive rotation of Core Secrets. i tended to alternate days with straight cardio.
