Question Mini bosu - thoughts?

I'm thinking of getting a bosu but have always balked at the size, price, etc.

I know that they have got new ones out - anyone have one and have any thoughts?

Do you use yours often? I know they are easily used for other workouts - do you do this often?

Basically, I want to know is it worth getting, have you noticed increased strength in your core, better balance, etc.

Any reasons not to get one? Is yours collecting dust?

I'm 5'4" and am thinking of getting the 55 cm one.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts, recommendations, etc.

I got the regular size bosu last month and LOVE it! I can't believe how difficult every workout is ....and man o' man do I feel my core the next day!
I used it last night in Cathe's HSTA - during the blasts, hamstring floor work and pushups.
I wish I would have gotten it a year ago! I already see a difference in my abs!

I had the regular sized one but it always seemed to tall for me. I got the 55 cm one and it's so much better for me. I'm glad I got it.

I want to buy the original big one, because (silly me) I think I will work much harder on it than the smaller one!

I just saw the mini BOSUs in the Power Systems catalog. I have the full size one and never use it. (DH uses it sometimes.) I wish they'd had the smaller ones before.

Thanks for the advice. I've heard that you might not be able to do as much on the smaller ones, i.e., squats, etc. so I'm thinking I might go for the full size one. I'm torn though.

I didn't know Target had them with free shipping! I need to check that out.
