I did send an e-mail to the magazine and told them I thought the ad was tacky and had nothing to do with fitness. They e-mailed me back, but it was obvious they didn't even read my e-mail because I got a generic "Thank you for taking the time to write. We appreciate hearing from our customers, blah, blah, blah..."

I always buy M&F Hers every month and this time when I went to the newstand I had to really look hard for it. Usually I can spot it from a distance, The brightly colored covers always caught my eye. I really liked the covers, I thought they really added something to the magazine. When I did find this months, I was very disappointed in the bland looking cover. It seems to me even the paper it's printed on is different somehow. The type also seems different. In all honesty, it just looks cheap! That back cover ad is a whole other post! I won't be buying this magazine anymore.

Maybe it would be good to email the company listed in the ad. Ask them what the heck the correlation is between the pairing of (what is it?) peanut butter and something - and a pair of boobs (which is the double entendre in the first line of the copy). Maybe I'm not their target market; I don't 'get it.'

This is a woman's magazine; I think their media planner made a mistake. I think they wanted plain old Muscle and Fitness.

I haven't received my copy in the mail yet, but after reading this thread, I really don't even care if I get it or not.

I have to agree, the magazine has changed since it changed ownership. I've been dissapointed with the last several issues and in fact have been thinking of cancelling my subscription. I really used to enjoy M&F Hers and couldn't wait to get my issues.

I recently started reading Oxygen and have been pleased overall with the magazine. Good presentation, great articles, workouts and fantastic recipes.

I haven't seen it yet...

...but if it's as bad as everyone is saying...it might be time for all of us to break out our old-fashioned paper and pens and write some carfully worded letters to the publisher. It's obvious that emailing gets you nowhere because they probably ony scan the emails for praise that they can reprint in their "letters" area...if anyone has the issue handy, can you post the actual mailing address for the magazine? Thanks...

I bought my copy at the store a few days ago...didn't see the back of the magazine...unpacked groceries...left it sitting upside down on the counter...saw it later and thought "What the *&^* is THAT?!'

I am really tired of this stuff. Add to the fact we just got some kind of porn virus on our computer that I had to clean up which added to my disgust at seeing women's bodies used for this kind of stuff.

I won't be buying it again - it's the same old same old anyway.

Yikes! I forgot about this thread and picked up M&F Hers yesterday. That ad is really demeaning. What on earth does peanut butter and breasts have to do with one another?

Joni,

I was going to e-mail the company in the ad, but the web address shown is no good.
