Debbie, how long does your post-workout rolling routine usually take?

You don't have to be fast, just keep moving forward.

Hi, Trudie Styler's Cardio Dance Flow, has an awesome bonus stretch, that is actually a Foam Roll session which is great, in the box it says it is 20 min. long, but it is actually 25 min. and I totally recommend it, the only thing he doesn't address are the calves so I do foam roll those on my own while the dvd is "loading". BTW, you'll need a full size Foam Roll for it. HTH

It really depends. It can be anywhere from 5-10 minutes. What I tend to do is hold longer on areas that are the most painful.

Mike Robertson has a free self-myofascial release PDF with some foam rolling moves:

http://robertsontrainingsystems.com/...ease-e-manual/

I have a GRID roller, regular roller and two soft rollers. I prefer the soft roller for regular use.

Oh fun! I found a foam roller in a thrift shop last week for $3. It's about 24" x 6" and kind of firm, and I think it'll be a nice complement to the tennis balls I've been using

Thanks for the link - great info!

My foam roller was giving me the evil eye this AM since I haven't used it in a few weeks.
