Facial Exercise DVDS

Are there any good ones out there? I've looked at few but don't know if it's worth my money and time.

Interesting that this post came up. I own Facercise and something else which I can't think of right now but it has a number of good workouts (Maybe I will find it tomorrow and tell you which it is).

I believe Carol Maggio doesn't really have a clue about the muscles of the face, head, and neck, but when I do her dvd regularly, my jowly-jowls firm up a bit, and all my features take on a more symmetrical cast.

I've never done the other workout very often because there's something, I don't know. It's not the exercises that give me a strange vibe, it's the woman. I don't know what it is about her, but I get a weird vibe from her (I'm laughing at how much that sounds like a 7th grade girl).

I really need to get both of these dvds out and do them more often. I took a webcam shot a few days ago so I could see how some glasses looked on me. Cripes. I know I'm 57, but I can look better than that!

I just recently acquired The Facial Workout. http://www.thefacialworkout.com/ I've only done it once. I don't recall anything bothersome about it, but I also can't remember anything spectacular either. I really should try to use it daily with my workouts. My face probably needs some toning.

I'm jumping in here (sorry to op) hoping for more input as I am also interested in this. Please post if you have any info, we need help, well I do anyway at 65 years of age. If I tone my body, I want my face to match, if possible.

Here is the thread link that contains more info

http://www.videofitness.com/~vfwnk/f....php?p=2450876

Here is my post from that thread

I'm posting in a hurry, but just wanted to say that I have had wonderful effects with facial exercise. Plus, with continuous use, it gives the skin a lovely glow, I'd say if done for 20 minutes a day after 2 weeks. I noticed small tonal differences after 4 days and a big difference after 1 week.

I'd say try many different programs- some exercises worked better for my face shape than others it seemed.

Besides healthy diet & working out, it is my youthful secret When I do it that is - otherwise, sag city! But, when I am on my game, I can pass for 30 to 35 rather than my real age of 46. I love the neck firmers & jawline tighteners- works wonders.

Here are my two favs, plus there are a lot of free facial exercises on youtube also.

Enjoy!

Cybersparkle, those Amazon links didn't work for me? (unless its my computer).
Thankyou for that review!

ETA: Funny, when I went to those same links from the thread you posted, they worked. LOL.

Ok,I don't post alot, but I love face exercises! They have kept my face looking the same. I really don't pay much attention to how I look, I just exercise body and face and try to eat the best I can. I don't wear makeup as I don't like the feel and I am always busy. But my skin looks fresh and smooth. I have Flex Effect and Caroylns fitness. I like Flex effect the best because of variety and I have them memorized. I do not follow their schedule as I don't want to stress. There are 3 variations you are suppose to change every week; I just do what I feel like doing that day and what my time is like. I make it my own I guess. I also do not do the bone building and skin thing as I am just too busy right now in my life. Sometimes I add a few things from Carolyn's. Now, I want to look at the facial workout for fun. You know how some people lay in shavasana when finished with yoga? That is when I do my facial exercises. Gives me an excuse to lie there for awhile.

I'm unconvinced about face exercises, but I have a neuro-muscular disorder, and Yamuna's Save Your Face kit does help me relax:

She also has four free online videos that cover TMJ.
