what are your favorite foam roller DVDs for myofascial release?

I don't like foam roller workouts that use the foam roller as an exercise prop, like Stott Pilates on a Roll. Are there DVDs that use the foam roller for myofascial release/stretching?

I don't have a dvd, but I've used the you-tube video by Caroline Jordan. She also uses a rolling pin instead of a foam roller.

I use this YouTube video by Ashley Borden.
Very instructive. After you follow along a couple of times you just know what to do as you move from one part of your body to the next.
I'm going to try Desie's suggestion also.

Not a DVD, but I love this foam roller video on My Yoga Online http://www.myyogaonline.com/videos/p...he-foam-roller. Anita has other videos using the foam roller, but this one is specifically for massage and release. You can buy it for $4 for the ipad version and $6 for the PC version (the difference is in the picture quality).

I also have the Spinervals Flexible Warrior foam rolling video, but I don't care for it that much. There are 3 sections: a sun salutation foam roll, a core workout and a full length. I find Anita's video on MYO really suits my needs and her voice is very soothing. I could have found a much better use for the money that the Spinervals video cost.

The Melt Method uses a softer foam roller (not a hard one) and some smaller soft balls for fascia massage. Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but I do like it, and think it's helped me.

BunnyHop, is the only Melt Method DVD the one for hands & feet?

I had no idea this search would be futile. I

Cynthia, I've had a tough time finding foam roller DVDs just for massage too! The Fitness Fix DVDs include a 15-minute foam roller massage segment that is nice, although it's the same segment on all 3 DVDs.

Cynthia, I think most people do what I do and make up their own routine. I learned a lot of stretches from You Tube, and the one from MYO as well. From there I concentrate on the areas I want in order. I hit most everything in this order:

glutes
hamstrings
calves
quads
shins
it band
inner thighs
upper back
middle back
neck

Then I will do chest opening moves if I feel I need it. I would just search for demos of exercises and then put together your own. I've been foam rolling daily and only spend a few minutes a day on this routine.

Beth, thanks - that is valuable information about the Fitness Fix DVDs. I never would have considered the Fitness Fix Sports Conditioning otherwise - but I just ordered it from amazon, where it was the cheapest of the 3.

Deana, I just like DVDs, not youtube and not doing it on my own.
