They are only sold in pairs? I guess you only need it for the top/bottom of the incline/decline, but still....$50? Too rich for my blood LOL! Maybe they will come down in price?

you can buy a transfirmer with DVDs for $50 at Target or Ulta. This is too expensive IMO

Yowsa!!!

They are pricey, aren't they!!!

I often use a stability ball for incline work and never got into the Transfirmer thing...I'll wait...

They are too expensive, but it is a really good idea. While doing Amy B's Slo-Mo, I have found the incline on the step to be more unstable than I would like. And it would work well for a Transfirmer, and would be more versatile - just like the high step is more versatile than the Fanny Lifter.

I agree the TF is a much better deal with the workouts.

Can someone explain to me why you'd want to do a step workout on a slanted surface? I don't get it. As clumsy as I am on a regular step, I'd probably kill myself. I'm sure there must be some benefit, though, that I'm just not imaginative enough to see.

Thanks,
Shari

The moves I've seen done on a ramp or inclined step are not the up-up-down-down of traditional step cardio. Usually it's a series of lunges where you step onto the surface with one foot and keep the other on the floor.

I do like the idea of the slanted risers to use when the step becomes my weights bench. My step never feels quite secure when I put three or four risers at one end and one at the other and balance the platform in between. Having said that, the platform has never shifted at all when I do incline it. Dunno if I'd pay $50 for feeling more secure...

It says that the risers are sold in pairs? So does that mean it's $49.99 for each riser? And since they are sold in pairs, I have to pay $91.98 plus S&H? VERY expensive. I'll just use my money to buy P90X+ which I think is a lot less than that.

I'll pass. I have a TF. Plus, i'd rather just get an extra set or 2 of regular risers (which I've been meaning to do forever and might actually be a good time to do so.)
