Has anyone ordered it from Dick's? They have a collection of 3 workouts that go along with it that look interesting. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/pr...138&cp&kw=bosu

They have both at my gym. I thought I would like the smaller one better but I think it is to small. It is smalller and flatter, more like the bosu knock-offs. I think it would be better to have the small one for cardio and the big one for strength. Standing on the small one isn't much of a balance challange.

You might want to see if there is a gym in your area where you can try them out, they always give out free trials and it is a fun way to try equipment.

Good Luck!

Fikustree, did you try the 9" 55 cm Sports Bosu or the 7" 45 cm BOSU? I'm going to check my gym, too, although I think I've only spotted the large ones.

I wonder how well the BOSU workouts currently available would work with the smaller one? I had that Reebok X-ball thing from Target when it went on clearance. I tried to do Firm workouts that use the Fanny Lifter on it, but because it was oblong, it was just too hard to adapt them.

I did like that it made everything lower-impact. Seems that I'd need the bigger BOSU for that. It sounds like the size difference is pretty significant. Has anyone tried a BOSU workout on the smaller one?

What can you do on a BOSU? I hear everyone talking about them.
