Ana Forrest - New Book!

http://www.amazon.com/Fierce-Medicin...1618733&sr=8-1

It's being released May 3rd. Finally! -- it seems like it's been in the works FOREVER.

I'm eagerly awaiting Ana Brett and Ravi Singh's new book, too. I think that one's going to be later this year.

Oh, how cool! I didn't know she was working on a book. I may actually preorder this!

I'll definitely keep an eye out for this. Ana Forrest always has something interesting and thought-provoking to say.

Anyone get this yet? I have been doing Strength and Spirit this week and feel great! I checked her website to see if she was going to be doing workshops in my area but sadly I missed her appearance in New york last week. She is doing a book tour and I was wondering what people here thought about it.

I have and I'm through most of the first chapter. I like it, but so far I wouldn't say it's a "strictly how to do yoga" book..it's way more. I love Ana.

Some pages available here:

Harper Collins

I don't think I'll buy it, but I'll try to get it at the library eventually. I'm getting the impression that it's more about her psychological/spiritual journey through yoga and how that infuses her teaching and practice.

I really like the Forrest DVD's and practices I have, but I have no desire to go to one of her workshops - she's just too intense for me!
