Should fit like the FL - no snapping, keep rubber in. See if they have another one available - it is my most used gadget so I would want it to be just right!

I actually do have to snap mine in place, moreso than I do the Fanny Lifter. Right after I add the 6" piece to the 8" piece, I hear it snap into place when I first step on it to do a leg press or something. But I don't feel like I have to force the pieces into place, so it certainly doesn't seem defective to me. Maybe the one you were looking at does have a problem.

I just recently found my transfirmer, along with the guide and 4 DVD's for $7.50 at my local Goodwill!

Angela

P.S. It stacks just fine.

I got that deal for $10 a couple of years ago. It gives you such a high, doesn't it?

Wow, I think I paid about $60 for mine at Target. I must say that I have used it enough to justify the cost.

Did anyone else notice this thread is 3 years old?

I love my Transfirmer, was lucky to get it right before Collage quit carrying them this past fall, and mine doesn't snap. Have never seen one at a thrift store, but would get a second if I came across one because I have a problem, I'm a collector (hoarder) of fitness stuff.
