it wasn't true for me either. i always thought that the reason i was holding on to fat was because i didn't lift enough, so i started using heavier weights. i was gaining *some* muscle but none of my clothes were fitting any better. i wasn't losing weight even though i was only eating maintenance calories and doing cardio.

i was just wondering how i would go about finding out just how many calories
I need everyday. the estimates i've read don't seem to work for me...
