well said.
some people's pants fit looser despite staying at the same weight if the distribution of your body tissues change.
if you have a way of tracking your fat%, you could see a decline in the %. you could do this with a body fat scale or calipers, or even your fingers pinching your waist. the internet has instructions on how to do it by pinching your waist (and thighs and/or hips too).
