A few minutes before 9PM Pacific/Midnight Eastern I put down my yoga mat, put in Lee Holden's Qi Gong 30-Day Challenge and started Day 27 as a warm up. Then, because I have been rehabbing a strained bicep that doesn't like me to hold my arms out or up and working on modifications for yoga moves, I did my own yoga routine until 5 minutes to the end of the hour when I got out my cushion and did several minutes of seated meditation.
Happy New Year, VFers. And, Chele, it's never too late. Plenty of people post without signing up. And I'm sure other mentally participate without posting. Thanks, Abbe, for originating this and keeping it going for 20 years.

This was good. I was prompted today to connect the DVD player to the new tv so I could do one of the Tracie Long videos I had purchased but had yet to look at.
Mine was the 3am ET slot. I went with Tracie's Core Movements, the Studio Series for therapeutic reasons. It is two 30 minute volumes. Brace Yourself and Loosen Up. They weren't easy but doable. I learned a few things and worked some kinks out. Thanks for the invite! |

Happy New Year all V'Fers!! This is my first year participating in this marathon, so thanks so much for having me & gratitude FitBoop for your coordination and time.
At 4am (1am my time), my routine was Bodyline Pilates (YT) pilates ball workout, and I added 2 sets of 11 weighted Poliquin step-ups for a little knee prehab/stability. It was just the right intensity as DH & I played some Just Dance on the Xbox tonight which pooped me out! LoL. Here's to 2022!!! Cheers! ![]() |

Happy New Year everyone!
I participated a few times in previous years and it's always fun. Thanks for setting this up. Mine was the 5 am slot (finished the workout at 5) and I welcomed the New Year with Sunrise, a Sarah Starr's Happy Yoga Intermediate practice. I felt thankful and calm. Might add on another workout a bit later. |
