Thanks, ASAS! She totally made my day by surprising me with a visit!

Tammie, you sound like me and my pain right now! Do you know what you did to make it painful? Make sure your pain isn't coming from your lower back like mine was. My hips looked great according to the Ortho...but the issue was with my lower back discs. Glad you found some relief in order to sleep... how awful to not be able to sleep!! Can you provide a link to the band that helped so much? I'm curious!

AnMrsDe, I really don't know what caused it. It came on suddenly. It does seem to be gradually improving though. Here is the brace that I bought that seems to help

I bought the medium one. The reason I decided to try it was because I was noticing I could deaden the pain some if I pressed my thigh right below my hip with my hand. I can now do crunches on the floor. I had switched to doing them on a stability ball. I still have to place my hands under my hips to work lower abs.

Tammie - glad that brace is helping.

I had purchased the SI Joint belt but I found it made my pain worse, so quit using it. I think it compressed the nerves too much or something??

I have been dealing w/ hip/low back/SI pain - I have had issues there for years but my latest flare, I think, was triggered by Pahla B's workouts. I'm not sure what it is about them that sets this area off.

I have been mainly doing Ellen and Jessica Valent's PT practices....

It is improving.....

Tammie - sorry about your injury. Sending healing vibes, glad to hear that you’ve gotten some relief!.

AsSweet - I kind of miss the virgin/20 new instructors check-in because I’ve been neglecting my unused workouts again.

Elsie - oh, no, I’m not doing the virtual road trip. I’m excited for the folks that are participating and excited that they’ll hear about the new Cathe workouts first. I’m tired of the teasers.

Helen must be swamped with school stuff and working 16 hour days. So much for trying to leave work at a decent time. I’m sure your students love you though!

AMD, thanks for the link! That was fun to watch, nice customs! // I personally, could not workout with so many clothes on, even during the winter I workout in shorts and tank tops

Thanks, Tammie, for the link. That looks interesting. I can't imagine wearing it under your clothes, though. Mine are tight enough as it is!! Talk about lots of bumps and bulges, LOL! I'm glad it provided some relief for your pain while sleeping. I'm going to bookmark that in case my hip/back pain rares its' ugly head again.

T2B, ASAS, Cathe's Live class looks fun and somebody to watch while working out!! ASAS, yep, me too - shorts & sport bras - I could never work out in all that garb! T2B, I thought "What?! She didn't tell us she was going to do the virtual road trip?????" LOL I would've been hurt!!

Thanks for the well wishes. It sounds like several of us have similar issues. Donnamp, I have never done a Pahla B workout so I don't know if they would bother me. I will do Yin Yoga workouts at night for any pain relief. During the peak of my pain, I struggled to do these. I had to avoid poses in the prone position. AnMrsDe, I wouldn't attempt to wear that brace under clothes.

AnMrsDe I have that Willpower and Grace workout!! I would have happily have sent it off to you The crazy thing is I still remember it and I can’t imagine I’ve done it more than once. The first part is totally fine but the core section, maybe I just don’t get it? Those outfits!! It’s like watching a Halloween workout!

LOL Jane, that is too funny!! I felt like I was back in the '60's!!! Haha Well, at least I did the workout during the right time of year!! Yeah, it'll probably just sit on my shelf now but I know never to say never! I do have a Hilliard Studio workout I could send you, too.....
