Happy New Year to all!

Day 11 - 31/12:
- MFML Yoga to Strengthen the Spine
- Ekhart Yoga - Balance & Stabilise Your Sacrum. Sandra certainly knows her anatomy and gives some great information on what can de-stabilise the pelvis. The aching in my sacrum subsided quite a lot by the end of the class.
- MFML Gratitude Meditation

Day 12 - 01/01/21: all short practices
- MFML Yoga stretches at your Desk (15 min)
- LH #10 of Lee's 7-Minute Challenge
- Ekhart - De-stress your Neck and Jaw
- Yoga glo - Meditation - Body Scan for Deep Rest

Welcome to Helen and antbuko. Happy to have you join us.

Pat - Thank you for your thoughts on Glo. It sounds just up my street, so thought I'd better check it out!

Vantreesta - So sorry you've had such a hard time this year. Hope this coming year will be much brighter and happier for you. ((Hugs))

FirmDancer - I liked Melissa's class that I tried a few days ago. That sounds like a good program to start the year.

Waves to all!

Day 11 - 12/31/2020:

Yoga: Tiffany Cruikshank Athlete's Recovery Class restorative (Glo).

I'm by no means an athlete but (A) I wanted a restorative practice and (B) I was sore from Lucy W-R whooping my tail. It was a nice little practice and I stayed in supta for a while for dessert.

I did a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy live (via Zoom) class today; it was very encouraging and soothing.

Cyric was adorable this morning. I was doing Lee Holden Qi Gong and he sat on the floor in front of me and watched the TV, just looking so interested! I don't know if it was Lee's voice that captivated him or more likely the water behind him but it was just so cute I wanted to smother him in hugs and kisses. D'Argo never paid attention to TV but Chianna once watched part of the Superbowl, she watched the chickens on Dr. Pol and smart girl watched Shaun T with me one day. This is the first I've seen Cyric look at the TV.

Happy New Year - pass the loofah and the lye soap so I can scrub any remaining 2020 cooties off my body!!!

I have some catching up to do with my posts. Had some end of year things at work and worked long hours all week, but didn't bail on Sadhana, thank goodness!

Day 8 - December 28.2020
YT - 20 Minute Chakra Balance Guided Meditation for Healing and Positive Energies - Master Sri Akarshana
YT - Guided Meditation for Loss - Coping with Grief & Sadness - Brett Larkin Yoga
YT - Crystal Bowl 14 Minute Chakra Mediation - templesounds

Day 9 - December 29.2020
worked a very long day, so I did some things on my own
breath work - square breathing (inhale on 4 counts, gently hold for 4 counts, exhale for 4 counts, hold 4 counts and repeat), 4-7-8 breathing (learned this from Dr. Andrew Weil - can't remember if I had one of his cassette tapes or CD's - it was that long ago)
Svaroopa yoga inspired meditation

Day 10 - December 30,2020
another very long day
Insight Timer - repeated the Season of Light Sound Bath - Betty Gauthier while using ear buds.

Day 11 - December 31, 2020

another long day (thank goodness I got everything at work wrapped up!)
breath work - slow, deep breathing with muscle relaxation
meditation on my own focusing on a better 2021 for all

Day 12 - January 1,2021
Lee Holden - Qi Gong for Hypertension
YT - Boho Beautiful - 15 Minute Meditation to Find peace in Uncertain Times

Welcome to all the 1.1 starters.

I'm enjoying reading everyone's posts.

Vantreesta -

My Lab used to hear Yoga w/ Adriene's music and come running down the stairs to do "yoga" with me! LOL! She is now much older and the stairs are hard for her and she doesn't hear as well as she used to - but if she happens to be around when I'm doing yoga, she always make a point of coming in and laying down next time.

Thank you, also, for sharing about your mom and mom-in-law. 2020 was a hard year......

Namaste my friends.

Pam, no, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy offered a couple of free classes, one that I did last week, and then this follow-up today. They have a great training program that I think would be a great experience, but it's very time-consuming and pricey.

Morning MFML: 2021 Grounding & Strength series #1 / A Full-Body Flow for Beginners, Melissa Krieger
A nice morning wake-up class. Included a standing flow I enjoyed. The floor portion was a little slow. I wanted more!

Evening A DVD class! Gentle Yoga: Jane Adams / Evening Practice
I liked this a lot. Just asanas, minimal instruction, no flow, no chit-chat. Just get into the pose, hold it, then move on.
