Hello Friends, I hope all is well. Again thank you for the nice welcome. Nothing too exciting in my world this week. Good weather, we got some rain after a 6 week drought, and library world work is pretty stable right now. I am off to South Bend this weekend to visit my brother and SIL.

Here is my week so far:

August 30-100 min walk, Essentrics/Full body stretch/standing, Yoga 20 mins, 45 min walk, yard work (weeds)
August 31-65 min walk
September 1-1 hour walk
September 2-75 min walk, 60 min walk, Essentrics/Live class/Meg, 25 mins bedtime yoga.
September 3-90 min walk, Essentrics/Strength in Motion/Standing
September 4-75 min walk

I will probably do another walk later and some yoga, a walk in the morning before I drive and then we will probably bike when I get down there. Have a nice weekend and I will check in when I get back on Monday.

Stay well.

Mary

Garrie thanks for the funny. Your themed walks seem like a good idea for variety.

Mary thatís a lot of walking. Go you!

The last two days I have done some stress relief yoga from Yoga with Adriene, each evening after work. Saturday morning here so I am now off to do a Leslie walk, probably some miles from her older set Five Really Big Miles.

Tamilee Tight on Time (Buns & Thighs plus Stretch segments)

It's suppose to be hot today and especially tomorrow (103 degrees F.) and I'm not looking forward to it.

Wow Paine we are having a cooler spell - low 70s here today and tomorrow.

Hope that everyone had a good Friday and that most are able to enjoy a 3-day weekend!

Cathe Maximum Intensity Strength (30 minutes of Upper Body selections)

I shortened a bit of the upper body work of Cathe's Maximum Intensity Strength and that made it doable this morning.
It is now expected to be 104 degrees F today (ugh!). We don't have air conditioning at our house. Tomorrow it is expected to be 20 degrees cooler so that will be better.

I'm waving to everyone!

Paine hope you are able to find a way to stay cool today.

DH & I got our second dose of the Shingrex vaccine yesterday--and this one hit me much harder! I was okay yesterday but slept terrible last night due to alternating between freezing and burning up. I woke up early this a.m. and felt a combination of dizzy and nauseous; I could barely move. Luckily, after sleeping on & off on the couch for awhile, it's finally starting to get better and I could actually take a shower. I probably won't get in any kind of exercise today (unless I just do a few restorative poses).

Hope others had a better start to their day than I did!

Paine I hope you find a way to stay cool.

Beth thatís an awful reaction to the vaccine; I hope you have a restful day.

Saturday I ended up doing the free Body Groove Challenge Day 1 workout shared on GD. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the almost 30 minutes.
Sunday I did 2 miles from Leslieís 5 Really Big Miles.
Monday morning here now and Iím off to work so will workout after work this evening; probably another Leslie or and upper body strength workout.

Beth, I hope you feel back to normal tomorrow. How is your DH?

Beth and Anny, I'll be sleeping with the fan on me all night!

Paine, I had a bit of eat crow because DH wasn't as bad off as me this time! He didn't sleep well either and was feeling really achy, but he didn't have the nausea and dizziness that I had. Luckily, we are both feeling much better now!
