I looked up PHA and still don't get it. Anyone want to explain? Thanks!

I never heard of PHA before, so I did a google search:

Bootcamp - You Can Do Anything for a Minute
PHAT Training
Strong Upper Body
Total Body Giant Sets
Cycle Sweat
and a solid cardio routine

All of these new Cathe workouts titles are workout titles from Cathe Live workouts. I have done (and I liked) all of them. I am hoping that the DVD workouts will be substantially different ( ie new exercises, different sequencing, better music, good premixes etc) than the Cathe Live offerings.

A circuit of 5-6 exercises for about 4-5 rounds does not sound appealing! I was digging what I was reading until I got to that part. Three rounds is about all I think I can take before boredom sets in. I like the part about the rests though. I feel that sometimes Cathe doesn't rest long enough.

This is what I copied from Cathe's Facebook post (I didn't see anything about Cycle Sweat unless the bonus workout is going to be a cycle workout):

The Strong & Sweaty 5 DVD Series

1. PHA Training
2. Total Body Giant Sets
3. BootCamp: You Can Do Anything for a Minute
4. Cardio Slam
5. Ramped Up Upper Body

Bonus 6th DVD

Cardio Sweat

I am so excited....love all the weight training options! I am hoping the info about the upcoming presale will be in tomorrows newsletter.

PHAT #1 from Cathe Live is the following:

Plie squats, rear flies
lunge reach, curl/press/extend,
static lunge, front raise,
deadlifts, pushups

...then repeat that series 3 more times (or is it two more times...didn't take note)

I didn't take notes on PHAT 2, so I'll go check it out and come back.

Okay, PHAT #2 from Cathe Live: (each exercise is 12 reps except pushups--slow 8 reps)
Round 1 (do this round 3 times)
elevated lunges/overhead press
step ups/bicep curs
uneven squats/pushups

Round 2 (do this round three times)
side lunges/overhead tricep extensions
single leg deadlifts/upright rows
squats/pullovers

Here are the two PHAT reviews from the WONDERFUL blog 2lazy4gym.com

https://2lazy4gym.com/2015/12/07/cat...-pha-training/

https://2lazy4gym.com/2016/03/28/cathe-live-phat-2/

I really love these workouts and am excited for this and the other workouts announced!

The PHAT workouts are some of my favorite Cathe Live workouts. IIRC Cathe messed up on the first round and skipped two of the exercises. So she ended up counting that as a warm up round. She did three more rounds with all the exercises.

Bubbles-I'm not a huge fan of repetitive exercises but for some reason with this type of training there is no dread factor for me. The rounds move FAST and you're not doing tons of reps. So before you know it you're done.
