Friday - all courses completed and completion certificates as evidence emailed to principal.

My 'me' time was some knitting - have been working on a jumper for my dog - so it's ready for in time for winter nights. This morning, have moved into the sewing area - tidying and getting the long-overude mending pile. Maybe one day I'll actually make something NEW again. (roll eyes)

Venting - oh YES PLEASE!!! It's actually reassuring when people vent - clearly shows that we ALL have ups AND downs in our lives. The problem with instantaneous social media is that too many of the younger generation do NOT get that - people only post their highlights and it gives a false impression that EVERYONE's life is better - so one's own life sucks in comparison - it's definitely a contributing factor to the rise in depression.

Have a great weekend - "Make it so."

She had a good report! Moving along really well but he said not to overdo it. She enjoyed going to mom's afterward, too.

I'd like to know your thoughts about KCM's workouts, too, Tammie!

I just wanted to check in, no real workouts to report. My dad is staying with me, he has Covid and is pretty sick. We’re just trying to keep him out of the hospital because I know that will be like a black hole. I’m monitoring his oxygen level and making sure he’s getting liquids. It’s really beaten him up. He’s vaxxed and had his booster but he’s 80 and has some health issues. I’ve continued to test negative so I’ve hopefully have already had Covid and been asymptomatic or I’m not getting it. I feel lucky about that. I’ll check back in Monday.

AMD, I am glad everything went well for your sister! Wishing her a full and speedy recovery.

Helen, WTG! I am impressed how quickly you got it all done. And, I totally agree with what you said about social media.

So sorry to see about your Dad, even after being vaxxed and boosted! Hope he makes a full recovery. Glad, though, that you're still negative.
My DD24 is officially out of isolation today (vaxxed but can't get booster yet) and had no symptoms except exceedingly tired. Omicron should NOT be dismissed as being just like a cold.

Great news about your sister!

Business: Sat 15
43min, Shaun Thompson - Rockin' Body - Shaun T's Dance Party
30min dog walk right afterwards to get it in before a HUGE storm blew through.

• That work - got through it faster than recommended time - just sat at computer until it was done.
• Also yesterday - started tackling the mending pile, which felt really good.

Happy Sunday!

Jane, so sad to read about your dad's illness. And at that age it always seems more severe. It is so good of you & DH to care for him in your home! Praying he gets better and you all stay healthy in caring for him. Are you taking off work? Keeping you guys in my thoughts. The workouts should be the last thing on your mind although they could present a nice break at times, at least for me they do. Do what works for you. (((Hugs)))

Helen, hope your DD gets feeling better, too.

Chrys, a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! to you! Hope you enjoy your special day today!!

Jane, I'm sorry to hear your dad is sick. Hopefully you'll start seeing improvements soon. Helen, I hope your DD gets well also. The "recovery" phase can also be difficult.

ASAS & AnMrsDe, I haven't done the KCM bonus workouts yet. I plan to do those tomorrow and Tuesday. The Cardio Fit workouts matched my expectations. I like that they are 30 minutes so you can do a short workout, combine them for a longer workout, or combine one with another workout. I found them similar to my other KCM workouts. Power Splits was a little different from what I expected. For some reason I thought there would be more weights. The weight section is about 15 minutes and is traditional moves. There isn't a big variety of moves per body part. For upper body she does 3 sets of roughly 10 to 12 reps. For the lower body, she does 4 sets. Usually I used lighter poundage than Kelly for the upper body moves. There is one original move which I really liked in the upper body workout. It was a sitting move for rows. I've had to drop my poundage for rows because I feel it some in my lower back. Using this new move I didn't feel it in my back and I was able to use 20 lb dumbbells. She does have a premixes for only weights and for only cardio.

Today I did a virgin workout recommended for recovery days. I did the first workout of Mark Lauren's Mobility RX. My quads were on fire. It was good. I hope to try the second workout later this week. ASAS, I also bought the Annette Fletcher one that you recommended.

Chrys, I hope you had a wondeful Birthday!
