Bob and Brad - Prayers for Bob

For all of you that follow Bob and Brad, Bob has been diagnosed with Ataxia which affects his balance and speech.

They made a video about it here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zFEppGYEKA&t=1s

You can definitely tell there is a difference in his speech.

I learned a lot from them and I wish Bob well!

Donna, thanks for posting. That is so sad. I'm a big fan of Bob and Brad and have learned a lot too. Praying for him..

ETA: I just watched the video and am thankful they were able to rule out ALS, MS and Parkinson's.

This video was on my YT home page when I opened it up this AM. It made me really sad to hear that viewers of some recent videos apparently questioned whether Bob was intoxicated due to his speech. I'm glad he's going to continue to make videos. One of his daughters is a Speech Language Pathologist, so she'll be able to work with him on his speech. Fortunately, it isn't affecting his cognition.

Please send Bob your prayers/positive vibes. Bob and Brad have been such a wonderful resource and I love their sweet-natured goofiness.

I agree, cyana, it made me sad that people were being unkind in their comments. It goes to show, (and I know we are all guilty of this at times), that we shouldn't make snap judgments or rush to conclusions or say things that can be really unkind, particularly when the true situation is revealed.

I do hope that Bob's daughter is able to help. I'm glad that he is going to continue to make videos - I think it will help to inspire others with similar conditions to feel more empowered.

I'm grateful that Bob has such a great support system with his family and friends.
