I have lots of cinder blocks, too. I also have a sandbag, but I need to buy sand for it.
My outdoor gym has the rest of the fitness stuff being discussed, tractor tire, sledge hammer, med balls, ropes, plus kettlebells, etc. I LOVE working out outdoors. I set up a really nice circuit for my dh that was non impact because his right knee has been giving him a lot of grief. His eyes glazed over and instead of putting everything he had into the ropes, sledge hammer, med ball slams, etc., he only put in like 20-25% effort. I finally asked him if I wasting his and my time, and he said, "yes, it wasn't his thing!" He'd rather step up and down my step platform or spend 10 minutes on my spin bike watching Fishing with Ghandi.

How neat to see some Triangle ladies here. I go to church over on Walnut St.
I think this bootcamp is cool...it makes training accessible to those that don't have the spare $ to spend on fitness equipment, for one thing (now obviously, people pay to go to this gym/trainer....but I'm saying how others could put these ideas into work for them). |
