He seems like a really genuine person. I really appreciate his form pointers and how he did movements slowly at first and then tried them a bit faster. I had only been doing CS with Miranda that I was DVRing from my PBS channel for the past couple years, so these different instructors are a lovely change of pace. I also really enjoy Gail Garceau, she is also very good at cueing and form.

I forgot to mention that I also got myself a padded "hemorrhoid" cushion (what a terrible name!) for the side leg lifts. Wow does that make a difference on my hips!
I also realized that I had some yoga blocks, so I started using them as risers on the floor stretches (such as the hamstring stretches) and even though they're a little high, these make the stretches so much easier and I feel like I'm getting a lot more of a stretch. I also used them for the quad stretches (pretzel stretch) and it really helped to get in the proper position for me. I don't know why I didn't use these before! |
