I'm sorry this happened to you, but glad you posted. I've got early cataracts, so I know this surgery will eventually be in my future, and I'm glad to learn what I can about potential risks.
I hope your second opinion review goes well and that your symptoms resolve. What a headache. My dad had complications from his surgeries, but he'd apparently gone out of his way not to take it easy after the surgeries, etc., so I've mostly just hoped his troubles weren't something I'm likely to face.

Sorry to hear about your experience, and that your surgeon was so unprofessional and unhelpful. Glad that you are moving on to a different doctor. Hope all of you with eye issues find health and a good resolution! |

I am so sorry to hear about what happened to you. Scary…and no support from the surgeon/staff is awful on every level.

I am so sorry this happened!!! I would be extremely upset too. I'm sending you healing thoughts. Your eye doctor is a horrible doctor. Shame on him. Please keep us updated and I hope with all my heart that this problem resolves.
You CAN join that book club! Get audiobooks from the library. Audiobooks are great because I can listen while batch cooking or while doing housework. Pat, thank you for sharing your experience. How frightening. I'm not looking forward to cataract surgery in the future. |
