Flash from.the past VHS

I was in my favorite thrift store and they had the "Living Arts" box set of six yoga VHS with Patricia Walden and Rodney Yee. I did not buy it but it was fun to see it. I think it was only $2.00 and in great condition.

I know this feeling exactly. I'll see some VHS workout (usually a Tamilee) and just smile thinking about how often I enjoyed using my copy.

I had that set on VHS, too! My introduction to Rodney Yee. Fell in love right away.

Patricia Walden's Yoga for Beginners had this elaborate, advanced flow in the introduction and it scared me. But it ended up being very doable.

My very first yoga was a supposedly beginner practice from.Patricia Walden I bought on VHS from Caldor. She scared me away from yoga for a long time!

Sherry, I got my set at Caldor, too! Two pieces of history, there.

Alta - I remember your post about Patricia Walden ruining yoga for you.

Thank you! I really miss those discussions and so many of the people who posted in that thread are no longer active here. It makes me really sad.

Sherry, I still miss some of those posters. Some of those ladies were very helpful to me in my yoga journey back in those days.

I'm so grateful we still have a lot of wonderful yogis here!
