Hi all, I got home after midnight last night, thanks to a delayed flight and a long wait for the metro. We were exhausted, but we had a great time in Amsterdam! The concert was wonderful - the sound was excellent, as were the visuals. The person we were with used to run LiveNation Europe, which is the company that puts on all the big tours over here (he's worked with everyone from Lady Gaga to Madonna to the Police, etc.). He says this is one of the two best venues in Europe to see a show. Peter Gabriel's voice was strong and his band was so good.
We also spent a couple of days walking around Amsterdam. The weather was unusually good the entire time. The city was beautiful and colorful. We walked many miles each day.
This morning I did an upper body strength workout from Heather. My arm is still twinging from the nerve damage, but I was able to hold ten pound weights (carefully). So it's healing!
Cynthia, it's a good thing your DD has a brilliant lawyer on her side, lol. Fingers crossed that she wins this case.
Lynn, sounds like you are having a wonderful time. I hear you on the challenges of working out and maintaining other schedule differences in a small space.
Diana, I want to send DD to an international school's summer camp for a week here. But I also need to try to take her back to the U.S. this summer to see family. So that's a bit of planning! Are you planning any special trips this summer?
Linda, glad you are starting to feel better! You have a good team on your side between your SO and MM.
