On the phone and at work so no records and hard to see what I’m writing but…

Been getting up at 5am (normal is 7:30) to get daughter to train for Sydney all last week and this week. One day I managed to don fitwear before getting ready for work but that’s all I got to. Evening workouts are tough when one has fallen asleep on the couch after work, waking in time to take the dog out prior to evening train pickup.

Also, been over 90F and hit 104F yesterday.

So march hasn’t really started for me yet

Helen, your recent days are making me cringe...5 AM and 104 degrees?!?? Ugh! How are you doing with the early rising, fellow night owl??

I've just been doing dog walks and my foot exercises. Planning to get back to doing PT and start running again in a week or two. I'm thinking of doing a 5k in a couple months but haven't run since I think October.

I also started looking at races. We'll repeat one or two we did last year (buff boy found cuties at these races) and hopefully find some new ones. There is one on the plane runway at JFK I heard is fun that I've been keeping my eye on.

I managed to don gym-gear one morning, but that's as far as it got. After work, with the early getup & the heat - I hit the couch. Gym-buddy Kathryn wasn't up for it either, and also went away for a 4-5 day trip with friends. The girls got the keys to the new Sydney flat yesterday, so the early starts are DONE. DH is down there yesterday/today/tomorrow to help them unpack & get settled so they can get back to normal life as well.

Heat has dropped down to a top of low 80s, around 75F now (7pm) but the humidity is at 86%, sooooo sticky!

But, did one last night, and buddy-Kathryn is on again tonight, but not for another hour yet.

I got home from AZ a few hours ago. I unloaded the car, texted a little and then took a nap. I'd like some more nap, please!

Gotta go walk Cyric and get back into the swing of things. Hubby might be disappointed I'm not cooking tonight but he'll love the cookies I baked to bring home for him.

I will go to bed decent tonight and hopefully sleep like a log. The hotel I stayed in Monday night was a dump plus didn't make me feel the safest. Thankfully Cyric was with me but I still slept in my clothes and the TV and one light on. I was up at 5 yesterday to get out of there as soon as I could. Last night was a fabulous room and I slept okay but I stayed up till 11:00 so didn't sleep long enough. The trip takes me like 30 hours so I'm looking forward to doing little to nothing tmrw!

Vannie - Glad you got home safely between the hotels and driving it doesn't sound like a fun trip - 30 hours is bad enough!

Helen - You're making progress through STS. So impressive. I have yet to open my set.

Sandy - If you're still working on pull ups nourishmovelove posted a progression on YouTube shorts. I was hanging, then did some pull ups, then added a band to try and increase my volume. The spinal decompression may keep me going.

Thanks, buff! I enjoy the trip but that bad hotel was just not cool. I'll be smarter in the future. I knew where I wanted to stay that night but they were full when I got there. I've never run into that before!

At 25, they lift, though not as heavy as I do...yet. Those who CAN exercise as elders often say "Never stopped doing it, every day." To say that, START doing it, EVERY DAY! Want a smaller butt? Reduce the "But......" Putting off workouts = palming off to someone else (future me); try being her bestie by giving her the benefits of consistency. I'm happier if I finish a workout than if I skip one.
