Hi Nelly!

I don't have this version of Cathe's gloves but I do have the previous version and they are nice.

My main barbell is an old one though so it has this diamond etching in the center that is brutal on hands and gloves.

So I don't use the Cathe gloves on my barbell because it shreds them.

However, the gloves work great with my dumbbells which vary from vinyl and/or neoprene covered to old school iron.

I have the lifting gloves in the 1st link. They're ok. I have tiny wrists so I thought they would be good w/ the wrist strap. They're fine.. decent material, nice fit, breathable etc. I like the looks of the 2nd link. I have others that have much more padding in the palm (helps w/ body weight work).

I have my own boxing gloves so I can't comment on Cathe's.

I have a heavily padded pair that I use for bodyweight work too. They are a man's small but got them because my forefinger and webbing near my palm needed more cushioning than any of the women's lifting gloves I could find. (brand is harbinger)

I forgot to mention that I like to use Cathe's gloves whenever I do Pilates band work. So much more comfortable!

I have Cathe's camo lifting gloves and the camo boxing gloves. I find both gloves to be too large for my small hands/wrists.

The wrist wrap on the lifting gloves bunches up and, for me anyway, hinders lifting movement rather than enhancing it.

I do like the boxing gloves - they make punching so much more fun seeing these camo fists swinging and the added weight is just right for many of my kickboxing and boxing workouts - but the "crease" inside the gloves, which I think should hit near your palm crease, tends to hit nearer the end of my fingers. This less-than-ideal fit leads to tired hands and fingers after 30-40 minutes of wear.

Both products are well made and great-looking. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for someone whose hands fit them better.

YES!! Same here. I bought them thinking it would help but it's kind of loose, moves around too much, more of a nuisance.

I have the lifting gloves, and they're comfortable enough, but I don't have a lot to compare them to since I only recently started using gloves.

I also have the boxing gloves, but I have been nursing a rotator cuff for about 6 weeks and haven't used them yet.

I almost bought the boxing glove and lifting gloves without wristband.
I added them with the preorder for the 15 dvds and when I added my adress there was an enormous postage added.

Thanks for all your comments though. I appreciate it. A lot. I will try to search in Netherlands for padded lifting gloves.

I did buy the presale of 15 dvds because there is not shipping cost added with those to Europe which is great.
