Alysia Gadson Live Fit Revolution (live Kettlebell classes)

I have Alysia's Ultimate Kettlebell DVD's and really like the workouts. The DVD's and production quality are just okay but the workouts themselves are really good. Apparently she has been Shay's (from the Biggest Loser's) trainer since Shay left the show. She has this beginner kettlebell bootcamp class going on and she has filmed them. Here is the website: www.livefitrevolution.com. They are free workouts if anyone is interested.

I have been writing down the workouts and plan on starting them Monday.

You are welcome. I am watching the 4th workout now so I can write is down. I think these girls talk way too much during the workout. Looks like this is a 6 week bootcamp class.

I have her DVD's and like I posted above. I like the workouts themselves. They are DVD-rs also the production quality is just okay. Looks like they filmed this in empty building somewhere and it is Alysia and a student in sort of a PT session setting. Alysia has a stop watch while the student is doing the workout ins 3 of the 4 workouts. There is no music which I thought would bug me but for some reason I don't mind that there is not music for most of my Kettlebell workouts. If you can ignore all that and just concentrate on the workout itself, you will get a good workout.
There are 4 workouts:
Triples 30 mins
Stacks 30 mins
Ladder 30 mins
Bonus Swings 15 mins (Alysia joins in with the student in this one.)

I wish she had used the student from the Triples and Stacks workouts in all of them because I did not care for the form of the one who does the Ladder and Bonus Swings workouts. In the Ladder workout on the 5th ladder I have to ignore the student that is doing the workout because she gets very tired and adds extra swings and also puts swings in where there is not supposed to be swings in that set. They should have re-filmed that section of the workout.

Heehee- my 14 yr. old daughter walked in during the poop video, and she made a disgusted face, rolled her eyes and promptly left the room shaking her head.

I had to come back and say I LOVE this site! The videos are about an hour long and take forever to load, but it's worth it - I start loading and go do some chores or something, and come back to watch over lunch.

I wish more kettlebell DVDs were like this, with real people in a real class getting their form corrected, not models or the instructor alone. Alysia is so funny and the people are really inspiring. I joined their Facebook group and they are making great progress, losing 10-15 pounds in just a couple of weeks.
