Gin Miller Barbell Blast

Does anyone have this workout and how do you like it? I don’t remember seeing this before but just saw it on Mary’s site.

I used to have it. It is very slow. Unless you have a really heavy barbell it's boring. She spends a lot of time setting up each exercise too.

This is my opinion as well. I've done Jari Love's Original Get Ripped a zillion times, but this one just a few.


Edited to correct my typo. I had originally typed her name wrong, and corrected it so people don't get confused. Oops!!!

The words "slow" and "heavy" always catch my eye so I did a quick scan of the workout. I have heavy barbells and Body Bars. I spent a few moments trying to figure out what she was wearing.

Love Gin. Didn't love most of the chosen exercises.

you are talking about 2 different workouts. Jari Love made Get Ripped.

i have been revisiting my simple "body builder" type workouts where i can focus on what I'm doing. even if you lack barbells, this one can be easily adapted to dumbbells. "slow" means i can go at my own pace too rather than having to flail about!

when this thread appeared, i looked at my list of Gin weights workouts, and her other ones are worth checking out and have a similar vibe:

seriously strong 2007
simply endurance 2003
simply interval 2006
simply strong 2002
