Inner thigh strain. Need suggestions.

I've strained my right inner thigh. The tenderness/discomfort starts about 4 inches above the knee and goes up until about 2-3 inches from the groin. I took yesterday off and did an upper body weight workout/core workout today. I've got it wrapped and am also elevating my leg as much as possible. Should I be doing anything else?

Thanks!

I'd say ice it, too. A great way to do it is to freeze ice in a dixie cup and then cut down the edges of the cup so you can rub the ice directly on your leg. When you're numb, you're done. (Should take 2 - 3 minutes.) Or use an ice compress. Otherwise, looks like you have the bases covered! (Protect, rest, ICE, compression, elevation.)

rest, ice it for the first 3-4 days after injury and then use heat. Sorry for your injury. It truely sucks.
