About a kazillion years ago, when I first started using stepping videos, my calves would get VERY sore.
Running is a natural too. When I've been routinely running, my calves increase in size and definition a LOT (heehee, it's probably the only muscle I've got that's very nicely definied ). I agree with Alta too. Just try a hike to the summit of a mountain sometime. You'll find out VERY quickly just how strong your calf muscles are .
