For Jo FitFan - What is on your playlist of exercise music?

I was Jo FitFan's Secret Santa in the holiday exchange this year. One thing she wanted from me was a list of songs I put on to dance around to. I don't really do that; it's just not something that has ever been of interest to me. But I told her that I'd start a thread and ask our fellow VFers what is on their list so that she can get some ideas.

So, what is on your playlist, either actual or hypothetical, that gets you moving, that motivates you to dance around and get some fun exercise in? Jo FitFan wants to know!

I'm pretty old school with my dance music. I play disco-type music when I want to get a good dance workout on my own, or maybe something like Talking Heads or David Bowie.

I love Old School (70's - 90's Rap, Funk, R&B) music! We have a pretty good local Old School radio station.

Also, Techno. (Hamelin D'abell uses European Techno is some of his workouts.)

And Disco. I am forced to dance when I hear it!

Alta - Yeah, disco makes me move, too. I still remember the line from a movie where a character says, "Disco will last forever!" (or something like that...)

Although I don’t often freestyle dance, I love dancey workouts. I have dozens of playlists on my Spotify account for my Essentrics classes. It’s a wide variety…..pop, rock, classical, and lately more instrumental music covers. Some are more lively rock & pop for warm ups & toning segments, others are slower for flowy trademarks & stretching. I have fun putting my playlists together.

Thanks for all the responses. It's fun to see what people use to motivate themselves.
