There is a company called Body Trends that sells it from amazon. It's $76, but wasn't clear what all came with the basic product (ropes, poles?). I emailed them and got an auto reply saying I'd hear something within another day or two.

Nat,
You are a great detective, a much better woman than I Great job researching! It sounds legit to me.

Tigger, let us know how you like the Road Runner! I am so intrigued by it. I guess now the only reason I'm holding back is I showed it to DH and he said "man, that looks like a broken ankle waiting to happen" and reminded me that I am prone to plantar fasciitis

So I'll have to see how the reviews go. I have bookmarked the $49.95 model for now

It took me a minute to realize why those moves look so familiar...I do many of them on my upside down BOSU while standing behind a doorway!

Adding poles and tubing sounds like fun.

Oh jeez, now it sounds like I need a BOSU (something I've been holding off on).

Is it very stable when you do this? I know it's supposed to be somewhat unstable, but does it feel sturdy doing this?

Rose, the Bosu feels unsteady but sturdy. I love "surfing" on the Bosu with the dome down--very fun! I like the look of the Rug Runner--small enough to carry around! But that contact information includes an sbcglobal.net e-mail address, which seems unprofessional to me.

Hi Rose...what gimmat said.

I have the original sized BOSU and I too find it unstable (which is what I want) but sturdy.

I can of course tilt side to side on the Bosu, but I can't get it to spin or twist laterally. Maybe on something other than carpet? Zaprascal, what other moves do you incorporate when you do this?

I just tried the moves. I cannot do the heel raises and more importantly, I can't come close to spinning. I have wood floors. And I have no way to attach poles or tubing to the BOSU, though I could attach my tubing to my feet I suppose a la Billy Blanks.

The BOSU challenges your balance in 360 degrees whereas the Rug Runner just does it side to side or front to back depending on its orientation.

Maybe a more advanced BOSU user could do the spinning but I sure can't.

I had fun trying though.

It looks cool, but awfully expensive. I think I'll hang out for a few months & see how low they go
